Measurement note: Chest and waist are measured on the child’s body. Frock and shirt lengths are measured from the shoulder to the desired hem; trouser or gharara length is measured from the waist to the ankle. This is MEHR’s custom Pakistan-focused chart, not an official national sizing standard; the 11–12 row is a custom extension. Children’s proportions vary, so exact measurements are recommended.
How to Measure
- Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape snug but not tight.
- Waist: Measure around the natural waistline right above the hips.
- Frock / shirt length: Measure from the top of the shoulder down to the desired hemline.
- Trouser / gharara length: Measure from the natural waistline to the ankle or desired hem.
