Ordering bespoke children’s clothing online is simple and rewarding when you know how to take three quick measurements at home.
Step 1: The Chest Circumference
Place a soft measuring tape under your child’s arms and around the fullest part of her chest. Keep one finger between the tape and her body for breathing room.
Step 2: Shirt or Frock Length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to where you want the frock hemline to finish (e.g. at the knee or mid-calf).
Step 3: Bottom / Gharara Length
Measure from the natural waistline straight down to the ankle bone or top of the shoes.
